But all foreign visitors are still at risk of catching the virus and taking it back to their home countries, so many teams are still taking the necessary precautions.  Whereas Des Bieler and Rick Maese of The Washington Post write that the once apprehensive American soccer player, Hope Solo,—who took a series of precautions in her preparations for Rio—admits that her Zika fear is not as logical as she had originally believed it to be, and that the American media had definitely blown the virus out of proportion.
